Humanitarian aid with medical equipment delivered to Mangystau by foreign investor
Mangystau region has received Humanitarian aid with medical equipment. Investors of the multinational company ACE GROUP provided assistance to the region in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
The total volume of medical equipment was 3.5 tons, including 500 thousand facemasks, 40 thousand multifunctional disinfectants, 144 infrared thermometers, etc. As noted by the local authorities, the entire volume of humanitarian aid will be evenly distributed and delivered to medical institutions in Aktau and Zhanaozen, as well as in Beineu, Tupgaragan, Munaily and Karakiya districts.
“In this difficult time, we need to show a social positioning and protect the population from the spread of the virus and overcome the pandemic as soon as possible. Our company is always ready to provide all possible assistance, especially during a global pandemic. We will continue to cooperate with the regional leadership in the fight against COVID-19”, - said Mr. Aibat Kalaubay, Director of the ACE GROUP in Kazakhstan.
ACE GROUP plans to implement a logistics project in Kazakhstan with a total cost of about $200 million. The investment project provides for the development of an efficient products supply chain from East Asia to the Caspian region. The project is supported by Akimat of Mangystau region, SEZ "Seaport Aktau" and "KAZAKH INVEST" National Company" JSC.
